WarmStreets started on the streets of Lynchburg with one guy passing out orange bags filled with new warm clothes and sanitary supplies. Just two months later we gave over 200 bags of supplies to the homeless as well as supplies and aid to groups that work with the homeless thanks to partnering local church groups and businesses.

Daily Bread serves lunch 365 days a year to the homeless and near-homeless in Lynchburg. In 2011, they served over 57,000 meals. Warm Streets is helping with computer networking and improving food storage . We also work with small businesses to run a paper products drive, providing paper towels, plates, toilet paper, and other non-food items.​ For more information:
